A not so tender goose breast was the only weak point and reason for not giving 5 stars.Other food, like the delicious duck leg, and drinks were perfect, as the service has been.A nice place in the heart of the city, worth a visit.Dear Jay,thanky you for taken the time to rate our service and food.It is nice to hear that you really enjoyed your stay even if the goose was not so tender.. We will work on that--)Maybe you will return some day.We would be glad and wish you all the best.Yours Steffen Heilmann owner

The young chef Maria Gross and her talented team create an outstanding dining experience. Check their website http://www.restaurant-clara.de and look at the veal dish - it was served just like that and tasted fabulous!Special compliments to Marta Hüller for the excellent service and even more so, for her outstanding wines!

This cute restaurant is located in the historic center of Erfurt behind the "Krämerbrücke". It's passionately managed. The furniture and food is somewhat in french style. The menu changes every week depending on the seasonal fresh products. There is a selection of starters, small dishes, bigger main courses and also homemade cakes. And every time I was eating there it was really delicious.

Wir bieten Ihnen neben traditioneller thüringischer Küche auch ausgefallene und nicht alltägliche Köstlichkeiten an.
The location of Pier 37 is great, though the name is a little misleading. You would expect a pier to be close to a big river or at the sea. Pier 37 is right next to the little creek that crossed Erfurt. There is a picturesque bride crossing this creek to get into the restaurant, though. The waiters and waitresses are dressed up all in black with red suspenders and cuff titles - quite a sight. The menu is expansive, though lacking vegetarian options. I asked and was given the option of noodles with mushrooms (which were delicious) or a salad.Service was very good, there was only a confusion with our wine. We ordered a bottle from the area, since Erfurt is close to the "Saale Unstrut" wine area. We were give a bottle from the Ahr-region. The waitress said it´s still in the "German region".

Last night dinner at Erfurt was at this restaurant with a view of the river. The place is very busy that is why the friendly staff have to delay our dinner by frequently asking us if we want more drinks even though the bottles of wine are for our large group is not yet empty. The sweet potato soup with bacon was superb. The main course which was advertised as special Thuringen style of pork with sweet potato pancakes was edible but there was really nothimg special about it in presentation nor style. The cheese cake dessert with blie berry jam was terrible. Nobody in our table finished even a third of it. Again the very attentive and efficient staff saved the day for this restaurant. They should continue to improve on their "Thuringen special" which was quite disappointing especially when we really expected something special.
