Find out what Contemporary restaurants to try in Bardez. Bardez is the name of a region and taluka in North Goa. The name is credited to the Brahmin immigrants who migrated to the Konkan via Magadha in Gangetic India from Āryāvarta, in the north-western part of the Indian sub-continent. Bardez or more properly Bara (twelve) desh (country) means "twelve countries" (or lands). The form "country" probably refers to clan territorial limits, or to the Brahmin comunidades, of which the twelve, in no particular order, are Aldona, Moira, Olaulim, Nachinola, Siolim, Anjuna, Candolim, Serula, Saligao, Sangolda, Assagao and Pomburpa

Went there after seeing the amazing rating it had on TripAdvisor and it was an awesome decision! My favorite meal from my trip to Goa! Went there without a reservation (definitely advise making a prior reservation) - the place was packed so we were first given a table next to the kitchen door. However, we were very soon shifted to a much better location. The food was amazing! I'm usually not a fan of Gnocchi however on the waiters recommendation I had it and it was outstanding! A must try! Great service too!

Born of our passionate union circa 2000, A Reverie is an expression of our love affair with food and the techniques around it.
Out of the Box dishes and well platted. The restaurant serves Goan Poi Pizza a very tasty twist. The Thai or Italian were all served and tasted different. The flavours were well balanced and we all enjoyed the meal. The dessert Bonafie Pie and Chocolate platter were also different and tasty. A good place to visit. A dish per person is the concept and it is difficult to share.Hello! We're ecstatic and eternally grateful about your kind words towards our gastronomical pieces and installations. As we was staying in the sunset beach hotel we decided to book in here for our evening meal. We arrived on time and was seated but the restaurant was empty. 20 mins later not one waiter had been near our table to either offer us a drink or even a menu. My family and I made a decision there and then to leave as we couldnât even see a member of the waiting staff. This was a major disappointment as my mum has difficulty walking and this would have been an ideal place for her to eat. I do understand the laid back attitude of goa, but I think this was disgusting.

Located in Calangute-Baga circle. Great outdoor ambience restaurant & bar. Offers continental cuisine. Everyday serves fresh seafood, meat, vegetables & herbs from selected farms.
We went to this place in march and had pizzas which were great and the service was great too, unfortunately the toilets are horrendous. theres one toilet for men and women and the floor was wet through, the seat which covered in wee and the toilet smelt awful. This restaurant definitely need to address the state of the bathroom and if they can only have one due to space then they need to dedicate a person to make sure in is checked every hour as it certainly put us of going back.
