Montreal, c’est si bon! This French-speaking city is considered the cultural capital of Canada, and is a cosmopolitan celebration of Québécois style. A horse-drawn carriage ride around the cobblestone streets and grand buildings of Vieux-Montréal will give you a taste of European flavor. The Basilique Notre-Dame is a confection of stained glass, and the Plateau Mont-Royal district will delight you with its quaint boutiques and cafés. Dig in to a massive plate of poutine to fuel up for a tour of the epic Olympic Park.

As of May 31, 2018, our show runs THURSDAY nights. We start at 8:15pm! Comedy Abroad is Montreal's LONGEST weekly English stand-up comedy show (est. 2012!) and is specifically for visitors to Montreal. The show's in a bar beneath a hostel, so there's no shortage of accents to be heard in the crowd, and the beer is cheap (swish!). Our comics are a mix of pros and up-and-comers, from both Montreal and everywhere else. Some have performed at Just For Laughs, Edinburgh Fringe, Melbourne International, Winnipeg Comedy Festival & hae been on network television in Canada, USA, and Australia. There's no cover charge! We're a "pay-by-donation" show, so no fee to enter. Come in, grab a seat, enjoy the show. Towards the end of the show, we'll ask you for a donation (suggested is $8-10 but pay-what-you-feel). Did we mention the beer is cheap? We just did! Thursday Nights, 8:15pm, Lineups on our FB page. We're near Metro Berri UQAM. Bring senses of humour!

Theater based on humor and comedy. Based on his previous experiences, Jamin CHTOUKI, who already manages theaters in France for 20 years, created "La Comédie de Montréal". The scheduling is only composed with comedies, all year long, played in French by professional actors from Quebec. There is a bar to consume before or after the show, in a friendly atmosphere.

Built in 1925, the Olympia de Montreal is one of the most precious gems of Montreal's cultural and architectural heritage. Its years devoted to "cinematic theatre" gave it a particular character. Memories of the past still linger, doubled by an unparalleled convivial atmosphere. Its ideal location on Sainte-Catherine Street makes it one of Montreal's most accessible venues. The walls of the Olympia know how to dress with class and elegance to accommodate the voices of the biggest names in Quebec and international music scene: from Gilles Vigneault to Adele, via Daniel Bélanger, Claude Léveillé, Georges Brassens, Loreena McKennitt, Charlotte Gainsbourg, The Kills, Jack White, Zucchero, Ed Sheeran, Mrs Lauryn Hill, Kaytranada, IAM and many others. Besides his musical vocation, L'Olympia was able to expand its cultural horizons by hosting the greatest comedians in Quebec (Louis-José Houde, Daniel Lemire, Lise Dion, Sugar Sammy, Rachid Badouri...) and several theatral plays.
