We attended the Ray Charles tribute. Even though we've been residents of Orange County for decades we've never been to an event at this theater. It was a wonderful experience. Great acoustics for music, an intimate setting and easy access.

I have been there several times. They offer tremendous deals for tickets and it's not just for b-listers. The food is great bar food prepared by the bart next next door.

Attended a Jason Bonham/Whitesnake/Foreigner concert and it was easy to take a free shuttle from the Courtyard Marriott to the amphitheater. About 8 mins to get there and 5 mins. walk from the drop-off point to venue. Lots of drink and food vendors, although not enough shaded areas and tables for dining. Staff was friendly and helpful. There were plenty of bathrooms. The fold up concert chairs were very comfortable as they had a thick cushion (orchestra area). I would definitely attend another concert at this venue. Apparently, the old Irvine venue is going to be used for apts./condos, so this is a temporary venue til a new one is built. Heads up, they don't allow Go-Pros nor cameras. August weather was not too hot nor humid, it was very nice for a summer evening. Give them a try!
