We travel to Curacao each January for the past 12 years. Love it! We've done lots of things so this year we were seeking something authentic and different we could share with some friends on their first visit to the island. We got reservations to for the four of us to cook with the "spice girl". Her kitchen was all organized to engage twelve of us that day. Starting with a talk on the food, tasting of ingredients, sharing in different techniques to work with the components, cooking to sitting down to a feast we created. What a great introduction to the island for our friends. What a fun and delicious time for all of us. Made food, friends and learned so much. We will go back next year to try the dinner she hosts and hopefully one time make the special surprise night feast she puts on at a to be announced island location twice a year.
