We have nothing like the beauty of this resort in NZ. Our ski mountains are volcanic and barren of trees. It was incredible coming to a ski resort with trees. We were blown away by the size of this place, it’s beauty and being outside of school holidays it was virtually desolate - had close on 7 hours of continuous skiing. Very well organised - we’ll be back
As a former 4-star restaurant accountant and "coffee" magazine publisher, I found a new appreciation for coffee when I visited Hawaiian coffee farms and observed the process from harvest to roast. No longer was coffee just a caffeine jolt to get me functioning in the morning, but I think of it as a labor of love, savor each sip and imagine its path from crop to cup. Watching the beans roast up to first crack, and second crack, then tasting it...truly a priceless pleasure to share.
