Perched on Tasmania’s southeastern coast, the lively city of Hobart is a unique mash-up of the 19th and 21st centuries. The waterfront cafes, restaurants and studios of the largest city in Tasmania are housed in centuries-old converted warehouses that overlook a harbor bustling with yachts and fishing boats. An active arts scene, vibrant nightlife and leisurely daytime pace add to the city’s charm.

The Ceremony of Nine Lessons and Carols for the Feast of Christmas at All Saints Church South Hobart was truly magnificent this evening. This was a very special experience for us two Queensland visitors wanting to get in the mood for Christmas, an experience which far exceeded our expectations. The mix of readings, carols and choir was perfect. Can’t speak highly enough of the choir which was truly magnificent! Thank you to all concerned.
