Ordered from our local Chinese take away, has always been reasonable, but on this occasion it was bad ordered chicken curry, might as well have been onion curry with large chunks of under cooked onion being the main ingredient, also had prawn sweet and sour the prawns were dry and like rubber all I can say is it just have changed ownership or chef very very disappointed shameful

This is definitely the best Chinese restaurant in Sheffield (trust me...I've tried a lot!). Food is super authentic, has no MSG and is very reasonably priced. Excellent Peking duck which isn't too oily. Also try their steamed fish - I've had this twice now and on both times it has been cooked perfectly!You'd never guess how amazing this restaurant is from the shop exterior - secret hole in the wall!

Have used Canton regularly for years though have noticed a definite decline in food quality recently. Although we canât prove anything, we are fairly sure that Canton was the source of a fairly serious recent bout of food poisoning related to undercooked chicken. This has been reported to Food Standards Agency.We then had cause to complain about a completely separate issue at the weekend, only to find that the perfectly clear guy on the phone, who I had spoken to for 10 mins suddenly had very poor English!! Infuriating!!All in all I would not return until hygiene, food quality and customer service improve.Itâs a bit of a journey but the Wok in Crowborough is very good!

My wife fancied a Chinese meal so we thought about trying this one having had so many good reports. We were not disappointed first visit ever. The staff were very welcoming, the food was excellent; not all salty like some many others Chinese establishments, and the atmosphere was wonderful. Many thanks too all the staff will be going again.

The service was terrible, food beautiful but the manager was so rude to us, we had asked to move tables and it was like she held a grudge against us all night, she was just so rude to us. The waitress was lovely but unfortunately we kept having the manager serve us. Never going back considering we spent over £200
