The restaurant is located ahead of the Mitsubishi dealership and next door to the Ceres Bus parking lot.We were seated promptly for a party of 8 and were given menus along with roasted peanuts. We ordered peking duck, roasted chicken, sotanghon, pancit canton, black pepper beef, and birds nest soup with quail eggs. The soup came piping hot and warmed us up from the day's rain. The peking duck came a little sweet. The roasted chicken was drenched in sauce. The sotanghon was of good texture as with the pancit canton. The black pepper beef, which the waitress indicated that it was their specialty, was very chewy. It didn't pack the flavor I was hoping for, it was bland. We also orderd mango sago, mango shake and ube lomochi (sp?) (or was it the other "..mochi" named dessert) for dessert. The mango sago was a bit sour but the ube lomochi was wonderfully sweet, but not overwhelming. It had the consistency of mochi and had a sesame seed filling.Despite my disappointment of the food (which was highly recommened by someone in my party) the service was impeccable. Everyone was very accommodating and was eager to please. The waitresses that serviced our table were all very pleasant, and kept checking on us to make sure any requests we had was executed and satisfied.Overall, the price I paid for a party of 8 was of decent value. I did expect the food to be of more higher quality as people have raved about this restaurant. The service is superb. The service alone is why I would ever come back. The food.. well meh.. maybe I'll try again another time to see if the food improves.

This is the second time I have eaten at a CHowking and would never have a third time. All of the food was horrible, the main course and the sides. The only thing good was the coke. Do not eat at a Chowking. Yuck..
Where to eat American food in Tagbilaran City: The Best Restaurants and Bars
Hopefully the grand/soft opening jitters have been resolved. I went there soon after the opening. Battled long lines and confused/clueless waitstaff for just acceptable food at less than value pricing. To be fair, my experience with Dimsum is San Francisco and Hong Kong so the bar is set pretty high. None the less, Harbour City is not a new kid on the block. Shame on them for not having operations better sorted before opening. I'll go back in a couple of months.

It's a low to middle range restaurant where they serve Chinese food and are specialists in seafood. I only eat the pork, chicken, rice and vegetables .The first meat that was served was nearly cold (pork), and this should be warm. The sweet and sour chicken dish did not taste very much like sweet and sour. Unsure what's missing. The Corn soup was excellent and is highly recommended! The Sisig pork was very god and was served warm directly from the frying pan. Great!A bit expensive to be in the Philippines with around 400 pesos per head.
