I honestly don't understand all of these rave reviews, because my experience was not great. I ordered take-out sushi and was not impressed. The sushi was not rolled well and fell apart when I tried to pick it up. It also had quite a strong fishy smell, which I've never experienced with sushi before, and the avocado was brown. I couldn't finish it. The salad they give you with the lunch special is just lettuce with a bland sauce. I normally go to Mikado in Front Royal, which is 1000% better than Sake Sushi. Very disappointing. Two of my coworkers ordered the orange chicken and thought it was terrible as well. If you want good sushi, skip this place and go to Mikado.

Clean, most servers speak English quite well. Some behind the takeout counter are even Americans. The takeout food was kind of "gluey" when we got it home.

I occasionally shop at a grocery store in the same shopping center as China House, so I decided to try out the restaurant. I placed a takeout order, but the seating area seemed clean for those wanting to dine-in at the restaurant. I wasn't expecting amazing food, just your typical Americanized Chinese grub. Sadly, my lo mein was probably the worst I've ever had, and I've eaten a lot of Chinese food in my lifetime. The sesame chicken wasn't very good either. I guess the only positive thing was the egg roll.I recommend going across the street to the other shopping center. There's another Chinese restaurant that's better (IMHO).

We were pleasantly surprised by this unassuming new restaurant located near the Outback in Kernstown/Winchester. The food was made fresh, not sitting around in pans under a warming lamp. The quality and quantity were excellent for the price, and the waitress was top notch. The spring rolls and Kung Pao chicken were excellent.We will be back

Have had take out from Chinatown many times and wanted to try their lunch buffet. We arrived about 11:30 with only 3 other tables seated. The buffet was very well loaded with many of choices. Wait staff offered us soup which is included with buffet price. Food was excellent and within 20 minutes of being there the whole restaurant had every table filled with customers a good sign that this is the place to eat.
