Upon return, my lady and I were very disappointed....we expected a Chinese buffet but found, at best, a few "Americanized" would-be Chinese dishes...along with a limited selection of "safe" Japanese sushi...The use of MSG here is undeniable....the selections on the buffet are mostly swimming in grease...both facts that were confirmed by our digestive tracts....Finally, their prices have increased, making it no longer as much a "cheap" option for a meal...WE SHALL NOT RETURN!

This was located right near our hotel so decided to give it a try. We were not disappointed. The hot and sour soup was a bit oily but tasty. My mixed vegetables with shrimp was very good and my husband enjoyed the beef and broccoli. They have a very extensive menu, very reasonable prices and a few tables for dining in.

After having takeout that we enjoyed, we decided to dine in for a change. The parking lot was empty and we were the only people in the place at 7:30 on a Friday night. They do a pretty brisk takeout business, but not many people seem to dine in. Having the whole place to ourselves was nice and quiet.The service was no different than most other Chinese restaurants. They aren't about smiles or gushing over you...they take your order, they serve you food. It's that simple. Not mean or pushy or cold, just business-like.Our food came out fast...again...we were the only ones in the place. The food was served hot and delicious. The appetizers, soup and entrees were all good. The refills were very timely and the overall price was reasonable. I will continue to go back, both to dine in and get takeout.On our previous visit (for takeout), we met the son who helps out sometimes on weekends. Turns out the family used to live in the DC area, where we also used to live. He was very nice and made our experience very pleasant.Again, the food was good, the service was very efficient and the prices were good. We'll make this out "go to" place for Chinese in the 'Boro.

Perhaps because this is restaurant is brand new, it was empty and the food, while not bad, you could tell that had been in the steam warmer for sometime.I suspect that over time (just a few weeks), this restaurant will be in full operation and the food will turn over much quicker.

Although this restaurant may not look so nice on the outside, their food is delicious! They only take cash so be sure to have that ready, takeout orders are usually ready in less than 20 minutes. The family that owns this restaurant is always friendly and courteous, if your return customer they usually throw in some free eggrolls! Their vegetable fried rice is to die for! Any entrée can be prepared with different levels of spiciness, if you want an extra kick. If you're new to Statesboro this is a great place for Chinese takeout. Must Try!
