I have a favorite sushi place in the Mt Sinai/Miller Place area and I usually donât stray, but I decided to give Hokkaido a chance. The place is beautiful; comfortable seats, sturdy tables, modern design, and cool wallpaper. The service was excellent and my waiter even complimented me on my Star Wars shirt! The food was outstanding. My chicken pad Thai looked exactly like it did in the advertisement and the black noodle and beef was perfectly cooked! Sushi here was also amazing! They had many specials of the dayâ snow pea sprout, sautéed rice cakes, fresh scallops, wild king salmon, and a valentineâs roll. The sesame chicken was to die for!!

Jen's is run by a very nice family. We have been going here for many years. We order the sweet and sour chicken, roast pork fried rice, dumplings, orange beef among other items. We have never been disappointed.

Most of the storefront Chinese take out places all taste the same and aren't that good. Where this one stands out is in the quality of its appetizers. The spring rolls are amazing, be sure and order the "house mustard" it's so much better than the crud in the little packets. The stir fry dishes are average. Bonus points for having a website.

You donât often have an opportunity to go to a traditional Chinese restaurant. They even have a large fish tank with beautiful goldfish. The food is plentiful and very tasty. We ordered a few appetizers and soup. We then shared two dinners amongst the 4 of us otherwise it would have been too much food. Prices are reasonable too.

You can't get fried wontons everywhere anymore and this place has them and they are fantastic . I haven't gotten a dish here i didn't like. Also when you spend a certain amount they give you a free 2 liter soda or soup.
