I agree with the other reviewers. Little China is reliable, affordable and I go there for take-out. A few stand outs are their won ton soup, vegetable chow mein, asparagus in black bean sauce. The sweet and sour prawns are good according to my husband but the freshness of the prawns varies.

Reasonable prices, one step above average Chinese food, not worth a special trip, language barriers and under staffing result in poor customer service. We are so blessed to have so many outstanding Asian restaurants in the area that the only reason one would come here is if they lived nearby or like the stereotypical kitschy style red lanterns and dragons that older Americans grew up with. The food is a notch above average in that it isn't as greasy or gristly as cheap Chinese food but employs the same methods of copious corn starch sauces and heavily battered deep fried seafood and meats. The servings are generous. $2 is charged for tepid tea.Upon entering, the waitress will ask "What restaurant do you want?" Which was confusing, so I answered, "Um, this one?" I later figured out they have two separate menus, one for Chinese the other for sushi. After placing our order, I was relieved that the waitress carefully repeated our dishes to ensure accuracy, as her English was limited. My dining partner's fried rice came out first and then their Mongolian Beef 5 minutes later (I don't eat beef). My mushy brown rice (tasted like it had been sitting all day and then reheated) came out 5 minutes after that. About 5 minutes later, another woman brings out Salt and Pepper Fish (which look like huge fish donuts with all the batter) and I tell her that I actually ordered Black Bean Fish filets (about the only fish that isn't battered). She looks at the list and then reasons, "Yeah, yeah, Black Pepper Fish" and I insist, "No, I ordered Black Bean Fish." No apologies, she leaves. I figure they would remedy their mistake by making the entree immediately. Nope. 20 minutes later, my entree finally arrives, 45 minutes after placing my order and well after my dinner partner has finished. If you do come here, I would recommend actually pointing to the entrees on the menu so that there is no confusion about what you ordered. If you are in Point Richmond for Chinese take out or lunch, I would recommend Little China. Fast, fresh and better flavor and ingredients, but their tables are too small for larger groups and too utilitarian for dinner out.
Top 10 American food in Point Richmond, California, United States
I felt for some Chinese food and I did not want to go out. I felt like experiencing take out here in Richmond CA. I stumbled upon China Wok and they delivered quality food and service. i have ordered twice online and the food was delivered piping hot within 15 minutes and stayed hot for a good time. Every food item I had was very tasty. I had the chicken wings as an appetizer and the wonton soup was like no other I have tasted. The wonton soup consisted of crisp cabbage and carrots. The hot and sour soup came with the lunch special and was also very tasty. I had the family value meal for two which consisted of chicken fried rice and general chicken. General chicken is a lot of chicken with the sweet sauce on the side. I had the lunch special Lemon Chicken. The lemon chicken has a sweet taste and is not wings. Overall the food is very tasty and the service is outstanding. I would highly recommend China Wok.

Noodles Fresh serves gluten-free, imported Chinese noodle plates, soup bowls and rice plates. These dishes offer vegetarian and meat options. In addition, locally produced ramen noodles, craft beers, California wines and Chinese handcrafted pots of tea. C
We ordered the seafood ramen stir fried. Loaded with shrimp, calamari, fish and pea pods. The noodles were perfectly cooked and fried with a very flavorful. We also ordered a seafood soup. It had a lot of noodles and shrimp but lacked flavor. You had to add soy sauce to enhance it. Prices average and service good.Thank you for taking the time to review our restaurant. We truly appreciate your kind support. By the way, there is our home made chili sauce on eveytsble that is commonly used to spice up the Canton Seafood noodle bowl too. Thanks again

I'll throw my hat in the ring. We've two downtown chinese spots, whose ownerships have been bought and sold multiple times in the last couple years. In fact, other than New Morning and Salt and Pepper, almost everything is constantly under new ownership... Waypoint pizza, the Candy Shop, Sam's, Caprice. It's all sort of exhausting. But as many negative reviews I've read for this spot in regards to bungled communication, or normal operational problems...This food is fantastic. The chicken seems *really* fresh, and is quite delicious in any dish. The vegetables are really fresh, and all the dishes, whether rice, noodles, soups, or appetizers, have been fantastic. We order deliver once in awhile, and never eat at the restaurant. But I am really happy with this spot, and whomever the new owners are (as of at least 5 or 6 months ago, I assume). Fantastic stuff!
