It was founded in 1834 on the western edge of the Allegheny Plateau, just west of the city of Mansfield. After being incorporated in 1958, Ontario became a heavy manufacturing center because of the Erie Railroad line, and its proximity to Mansfield. However, its status in that regard began to decline in the late 20th century, when much of the Erie Railroad that once ran through the city was abandoned; and shifts in the manufacturing industry led to the relocation or repositioning of many factories. The city's industry has since diversified into the service economy, including education, finance and healthcare. The city is also a major regional retail hub serving the entire North-Central Ohio area, with a shopping population of over 150,000.

As people mentioned it moved. Itâs at the corner of Mansfield square. Beautiful wood tables and large windows to let in the breeze. My table was facing the fountain outside so it was a nice view. The Pad Thai was outstanding! Very mild. They were able to make it with gluten free soy sauce. Always a bonus for me. Price point was a bit steep but it was worth it!

We have been to this buffet many times and are always pleased to eat there. They have a lot of sea food and chicken items which do not care for and only one beef item which is good but I would prefer stir fried veggies instead of being cooked in the beef. However it is very good. I also had cookies and ice cream for desert. Those with me had various chicken dishes which they said were very good. Don't forget to ask for your senior discount.

This is a "get it yourself" type buffet. There are 6 tables with everything from chicken fingers to "General Tso" chicken. A desert bar with jello, cookies, fruit, cakes, and a soft ice cream machine. There is also, for an additional charge, a "Mongolian bar" section where you can pick out "raw" items and have them cooked in front of you, to your pleasure. Lunch prices are great. Dinner prices are higher.

Love this place. Friendly folks, and nothing fancy, but really good sweet & sour chicken. The sauce is tasty, and they add pineapple, onion and green peppers to the chicken, with a side of rice. The other dishes look good too, but always get the same. Truly the best sweet & sour chicken I've had in Richland County. Good stuff!

From the time you walk in and see the faded photos of Chinese dishes to the last bite of tasteless food being passed off as Chinese.. Well you get the point. Keep moving through this area... there's nothing to see here folks.
