I haven't been to the Oriental Chinese Restaurant (OCR) since it changed hands a few years back. Dining area is much improved and enlarged with the removal of the private dining area and changing the environment to a lighter interior color decor. We started with sizzling rice soup. However, gone are the days when the waiter would serve in a dramatic fashion the "snap-crackle-pop" rice right at your table on to the family soup bowl. Perhaps too much liability now a days. But, the soup was great. Won Ton appetizers were large over sized dough with very little meat. Not Good. Mu Shu pork & Mongolian Beef was above average accompanied with assorted vegetables. Good wine at an affordable price. All in all is was a good dinner.

Mad Wolf is one of our longtime favorite restaurants. As another reviewer said, it definitely fits the "hole in the wall" category: a tiny place with pink walls, red booths, and an aquarium in one corner. But the Mongolian BBQ is always good, and so are their delicious little sesame pocket breads. As is usual with Mongolian BBQ, you fill your bowl with raw vegetables and meats (if you're vegetarian you can request tofu instead), add your choice of sauces, and hand it to the chef who grills it in front of you. As an update to older reviews: they do now offer minced garlic and sesame oil along with the usual sauces, as well as roasted sesame seeds to sprinkle on top of your dish. There are other Chinese dishes on the menu, but we have never ventured into those, because the Mongolian BBQ is delicious - and flexible enough to suit everyone's tastes. If you visit during peak times (especially weekend evenings), the line sometimes gets backed up, and you may have to wait a while for your food to be cooked. This is a family run place, with good family atmosphere and many repeat customers who (like us) have been going there for years.

Family member recommended this restaurant for a takeaway, apparently it been here for years, we only had a few dishes with chicken corn soup but what we had was lovely and I would definitely go again. The gentleman on the desk was friendly and everything we had ordered was correct so a pleasant experience overall.

I'm writing up a second review for this restaurant as it has recently undergone a much needed face lift. Up until February 2016, the decor of the restaurant was stuck in the 1980's. It was the same tired booths, tables, and flooring for almost 35 years. That all changed this February (2016).They've replaced the flooring, booths, and tables, removed one of the under-utilized buffets that was just taking up space and also brought in new dinner plates. While you still use the large bowls to put your dish together, when the cook is finished with your dish, he plates it on larger flat plates instead of using the bowls. The overall impression is much nicer. The staff has changed since we were last there but is still friendly and helpful. The overall impression is much improved!
OJ chicken is my favorite. I ordered 2 large to go, 1 is pretty full, the other one box is like small bits of chicken, told her if she can give me the bigger bits of chicken she said it's all the same.... oh well she could have been nicer.
