What to do and see in Kumbakonam, India: The Best Places and Tips
Hello! We had a Kumbakonam trip in the end of the December month of 2018. We had lodged in a hotel for 2 days near Someswaran Temple. Our hotel previously had a fantastic restaurant but closed due to some issues. So, we were forced to eat in another place. Its Gowri Krishna Restaurant under Temple Inn Hotel. We first had our dinner there and it was really tasty. They also served Kadappa and special kumbakonam coffee. So, the next 2 days we had breakfast, lunch and dinner. It was crowded as many visiting temple city wanted to taste the food. Each and every pie we paid was worthy. The cost was pocket friendly. Only drawback is we have to wait a longer time during peak hours time. If you get a chance to visit Kumbakonam, dont forget to taste the food here.
