I have been going to China Wok since they first opened about two years ago. I really like their homemade dumplings, they are delicious! I always get a good meal and the owners are very nice and friendly. They are located near Stop & Shop, on US Route 9 in Hyde Park. I usually order food to go and then take it home and eat it with my family, but they do have plenty of seating so sometimes I eat there.
Great Wall is my favorite Chinese restaurant in the Hyde Park area. I've been going to this place for years and, even though I've tried other Chinese restaurants in the area, I always return to Great Wall. Their lunch specials cannot be topped for quality of food and price. You can get a meal, soup or egg roll, and rice for under $6.00 and the portions are quite large. I've never sampled anything from them which I didn't enjoy. There are a few small tables for eat-in but most people take out. Eating in is pleasant enough but it is a small shop and one should expect to be sharing space with a number of other people at tables or waiting to pick up their order. They have a really fascinating large Chinese print on the wall above the tables just inside the door which I have often gazed at throughout the entire meal and still I find small details in it that I missed before. I'd actually recommend a visit to the store just for this fascinating print. Handicapped accessible, with friendly and efficient staff, Great Wall is highly recommended. My go-to restaurant when I want a good meal at a good price. They do not serve alcohol but offer an assortment of soft drinks. A small restroom is located in the dining room which would be difficult for anyone in a wheelchair to navigate but fine if you walk with a cane. Highly recommended.
This is our favorite place for take-out Chinese food. We usually get the garlic chicken. The sauce is especially good which I have found is not the case for many Chinese takeout places. Orders are always ready in 20 minutes or less.

Non-traditional Chinese meaning forget sugar and heavy sauce. Many many vegetarian and vegan choices. This restaurants delivers!! Family owners are friendly and responsive. A very very welcome not only to Chinese menus, but to vegetarian/vegan/low fat cuisine, not to mention Chan's vice like monopoly on American Chinese food. Eat there, do take out, have delivery - make this the #1 restaurant in town!
