Freeport (officially The Incorporated Village of Freeport) is a village in the town of Hempstead, Nassau County, New York, US, on the South Shore of Long Island. The population was 43,713 at the 2010 census. A settlement since the 1640s, it was once an oystering community and later a resort popular with the New York City theater community. It is now primarily a bedroom suburb but retains a modest commercial waterfront and some light industry. It is serviced by the Freeport station on the Long Island Rail Road.

We were a large party and we like to eat in the same time so we decided to go to one of the boffe style meal. Immediately, my kids suggested this place. It was my first time. There was large selection plus the Habatshi style counter to do any special meal for you, the service was not the greatest part but the place is very busy and the priority was to clean table for the new customers, after all, it was a nice meal

I usually go to Flaming Grill, down the road, but decided to try Island Buffet. It's very good, but I think Flaming slightly edges it out. It's a little smaller than Flaming, with a little less selection, but at a lower price. Island gives more sauce choice, at it's hibachi grill, than Flaming does.

This place is right down the block from my house so I go here often. The food is always good. The place is always busy- the phone never stops ringing. The wonton soup is hot and flavorful. There isn't a lot of meat in the pepper steak but what is there si very tasty.

Amazing, delicious Chinese food delivered quickly to our hotel room with lots of extras and freebies. Super friendly service, everything was very hot and high quality. Excellent pork fried rice, great egg rolls.
