Our restaurant is based on the tradition of Czech beer and traditional Czech cuisine with traditional recipes from our ancestors. Sitting on our outdoor garden and glazed terrace provides view to one of the oldest stone bridges in Europe (13th century), t
Went there on my motorcycle trip. Was truly impressed with the speed of service, friendliness of the staff and absolutely great food! Canât recommend enough!! Maybe just book in advance as most of the tables on my arrival were booked, clearly a sign of popular place.

We stopped here on the way back to Prague from south bohemia. Nice billboards by the road convinced us to try it. The interier looked really cool and medieval, but with only candle light, it was too dim for us, so we sat outside. Threre were quite a few table ocupied but still we had to wait really long time before on of the waiters (who had passed by several times) decided to come to our table. We ordered our drinks -beer, cola and water. and asked for menu. Again we waited around 10 minutes and the waiter brought us only colas and water, no beer and no menu. So I asked him again for my beer and menu, so we could choose the meals. After waiting another several minutes for the beer or menu we decided to leave and go to a McDonalds not far away. In total we waited 25-30 minutes and didnt even get the menu to choose from... I would definitely not recommend it to anyone.

The restaurant has a different owner than hotel Biograf. However, dinner at Malkus restaurant was very good. Perfect pork steak, carp fries a pork schnitzel, tasty side dishes. Failed blue cheese sauce. The staff is willing but forgot to order an appetizer. Overall I can recommend

If you want to sample local culture and atmosphere, you can't go wrong with a visit to the Pi Club in Pisek. We don't usually go to the same restaurant twice on a trip, but we broke our rule this time and had dinner here on two of the three evenings we spent in Pisek. The food was typical of a local restaurant (what the Germans call "buergerlich"), which is what we look for when on holiday. Many locals were eating here, which is always a good sign. The barn-like interior of the restaurant added to the feeling that this was a club for the locals. I had zander (an excellent fish when correctly cooked) the first night and peppered steak the second. Neither could be faulted. My wife had gulasch both nights (which is something else we don't usually do - have the same meal twice - so that also says something about the quality).
