I don't know why this place is #5 among cafes in Tbilisi. Breakfasts are very simple and average. I had the English breakfast with a cheap boiled tasteless sausage from the supermarket and canned beans. Cappuccino was too hot so I burned my mouth. Cakes are dry, stale and boring. The food doesn't cost it's money.

Located in Tbilisi Old City Centre. Authentic Georgian cuisine and live folk music.
This restaurant was just around the corner from where we stayed. The interior is quite a unique brick cave design with various antique display. The food was ok, slightly over-priced compared to other similar food available elsewhere. Service is good, though.

A Georgian friend recommended this place for good khinkali. I was not disappointed - freshly made, juicy khinkali were incredibly delicious. I tried something new this time - drunken khinkali with beef, terragon and red wine. The ambiance and the service were excellent. Dreaming of my next visit.

Dukhan, in this way were called taverns in Georgia in the beginning of 20 century. There is a painting of the same name by Kirill Zdanevich. Food, as in the time of Zdanevich Brothers and Pirosmani, is plain: KHINKALI, KEBAB, SHASHLIK. Khachapuri (various
Arrived in Tbilisi for a day and the lady working here gave us the best welcoming smile we've seen so far. Food is absolutely amazing, portion very generous or in fact quite big, so sharing will be a good idea. The lady was caring enough to served our soup in two bowls for us to share. The Shashlik was super delicious with the pork grilled to perfection with charcoal aroma on top of the flavorful tender meat. Although we later found out tomato sauce is not free, it actually taste really good to make the dish taste even more light and refreshing. It's not the traditional tomato sauce we know, it taste like just fresh tomato made into a paste with very little additive. The Chikhirtma was very interesting. Tasted buttery but not heavy ,with the pickle veggies and herbs inside the soup taste amazing. The shop feels like a home run restaurant, very warm and friendly.Already planning on the next visit ;)Thank you, Guest! Lady. So, lady was manager Toma. Tamuna Avtandilovna. The main, acting coach. Or Ana, our amazing waiter. With last name Depadel. She is French.) who had never been to France. Of course, everyone likes our Chikhirtma, but we would like to change it a bit. By demand of our guests. In the bouillon is added some flour (the one oily taste). So they ask to prepare without flour. So)) We try to do magic. Think. Come again. Try and compare. how it was)
