Very long wait, no system to notify when it is your turn, loud music, dirty plates, filthy bathrooms, we had to ask numerous time for water. Food is very tasty, and portions are big, The rest needs a lot of improvement. People are standing all over waiting for their turn. The waters are not trained well, when we just set at the table the waiter sprayed cleaner all over the table and our clothes to clean the table, then when taking plates off the table the oil and sauce from food were flying all over us too. We took the remaining food back home and found long black hair on the plate, none has long black hair in our family:( not sure that tasty food overwrite all the filthy moments

We ordered take-out and had a jerk chicken dinner, which came with rice and spinach. The dinner portion was enough for 2. The chicken was tender and spicy, and the rice and spinach were delicious. We found the yucca ball appetizer unexciting--the filling was pasty and the dipping sauce too sweet.
I had to drop off my car at the dealer across the street and stopped in for breakfast. I ordered the "Cuban Sandwich" and "Ham Croquetas", both of which were great and so was the "Cuban Café con Leche"! The "Cuban Sandwich" is pretty big, so I recommend that if you are not a big eater to order the smaller version called "Media Noche". The price was pretty good; would definitely go back.

Love Haitian food and was so excited to find a place in Montclair. Ordered tons of different things and only one item was edible. The food was spicy to another level. My lips were burning and my husband and I basically threw it all out. The haitian caviar was horrible - red beans and rice were not so spicy they were not edible--- the flavors were all just off. The price was high and the food was horrible IMO. I will definitely never be back!

Sweet, minimalist restaurant in downtown montclair serving delicious Jamaican. Gorgeous plated combinations - goatcurry, rice, and kale; jerk chicken, cabbage, and plantains, fish, rice, and greens - we tried a few and want to go back for more. Plantains are really memorable. Service is very courteous. Prices are a little high, but the food is organic and very fresh. Our new favorite in Montclair!
