We visited Mikimi national park and stayed in Mantis lodge only for one night, but enough to have a wonderful expirience! It is situated in the forrest so it is guaranteed that youll have a quiet and peaceful time. The owner and the staff were friendly and helpfull all throughout our stay. Rooms witj bathrooms are nice, tidy and well equipped (TV, AC, fan...) Dinner in their restaurant was AMAZING! If you plan to visit Mikumi, consider staying at Mantis, you will not regret it!

Unique and authentic safari camp in natural settings at the buffer zone of Mikumi National Park. We are offering comfortable accommodation and a relaxed atmosphere.
We traveled over the easter weekend to the Camp Bastian and I would gratitude all who makes our stay so much enjoyable. Your warm welcoming staff, cozy cottages, wonderful food and service. Keep up this spirit. I just can recommend this camp to everyone who is planning to adventure the Mikumi or the Udzungwa Mountains National Park. All best Mario & Mela

Simbamwenni is a fully serviced tented lodge and campsite just outside Morogoro town, near the Uluguru Mountains. Ideally situated as a stopover between Dar es Salaam and Iringa for trips into the Selous, Mikumi, Udzungwa and Ruaha. You can start or continue your bush experience at our spacious river-side lodge, enjoying bird life and green spaces, while only minutes from town. Base yourself here for a bespoke hike into the Uluguru Mountains. We can arrange day trips to Mikumi National Park. Also ideal for business travellers, only 10 minutes from the centre of town, but away from the bustle.
We really enjoyed a day trip to Simbamwenni, it is a beautiful and peaceful place to relax and slow down. The staff were welcoming but discreet, and were happy to let us wander around the grounds. After a busy week meeting people it was lovely to be in a quiet spot and be left alone to recharge.

Mikumi Faru Luxury Campsite is located 8 kilometers from Mikumi National Park and about 20km to the entrance gate. It is built in a naturally landscaped mini forest coupled with different species of tress that makes it a very cool and calm place. We have four self contained luxury and semi luxury tents connected with hot water from traditionally made heaters. We also have a Banda with two rooms with maximum capacity of five beds for each making them suitable for budget travelers. A very good camping ground which can accommodate more than 50 tents.
