Ate here with a group of 14 people. Our service was excellent and everyone's order arrived exactly as requested. Everything was delicious and beautiful in presentation - we love coming here with out-of-town guests. We will be back soon and appreciate Wild Eggs continuing their longtime tradition delicious brunch at an affordable price. Such a wonderful array of menu options with both healthy and indulgent entrees. My only complaint would be the overpriced iced tea!! Sorry, it's my pet peeve when restaurants overcharge for drinks.
When we first moved to this area of town, we frequently dined at the Melrose Inn, a local staple and original home of Derby Pie. It was like having dinner at someone's home, with cozy areas, and comfort food specials. Melrose Café has arrived not in a rural setting, but part of a strip mall, in an area still close to rolling hills and horse farms. The menu was not extensive, but had good variety, and also offered the option of "breakfast for dinner", which looked pretty appetizing from what we saw at an adjoining table. My husband had the stir fry, and I got the angel hair pasta with veggies. A side salad was beautifully prepared, with a tasty Basilicata dressing - all fresh. Dinner was good, but we split a dessert - the strawberry shortcake - which was magnificent.
Each month a friend and I meet for lunch, we chose this Cafe and was not disappointed. The cafe is easy to order, seat yourself and enjoy style location. The option to buy full course meals for family dinner is a unique option that I may use on a busy night for the family. The sandwich I got was delicious and the salad my friend got looked amazing and she said it tasted just as good. Todd the manager was very nice and even brought a brownie out to my granddaughter. If you have the chance, go enjoy this quaint establishment ~
This was an exceptionally nice Starbucks, nice & roomy, larger than I've experienced before. Our drinks were terrific. If I lived nearby, it would definitely be a favorite place to meet up with friends.

Itâs nothing fancy and itâs pay at the counter but still itâs decent for lunch and reasonable. They close at 3 so donât linger too long. Nevertheless, the Benedictine sandwich on rye with fruit and a few chips for good and plenty enough for lunch. Is it as good as the Benedictine at The Cafe? No, but you canât eat there all the time. This small place is tucked in a small strip mall off of Brownsboro Road. For history buffs itâs not too far from Zachary Taylor National Cemetery. Service is friendly and after you place your order they will bring your food to your table plus collect your plates once through. Itâs fairly quiet for those of us in groups who prefer to talk to each other. At least it was that way at 1 pm on a Thursday.
