Daily menu (selection of 6 different meals) and two kinds of soup for just 5,90 euro. Big portions, and very tasty. Real Slovakian kitchen! In the city center, next to shops, restaurants and train station - highly reccomend! We were very unhappy that we visited the place on our last evening.Please bear in mind that it is rather a small bar than huge restaurant, but the staff is very friendly and has positive attitude. You receive your meal very fast!We are very happy for your reaction Thank you!!

Nice casual restaurant in the square, seems to cook until late at night. They have a great pizza oven and do huge variety of pizza which is perfectly cooked. Whilst we only had pizzas we will be returning as the other dishes looked nice too. The restaurant was very busy and we went but eery time when we got attention of the waitress she attended to us whilst keeping an eye on her tables. Good prizes too and selection of beers and hot drinks.

Planeta Levoca used to be a bar that served food - we have been coming here since 2006. Now it is THE meeting place in Levoca for locals to drink coffee, eat cake or eat the amazingly great value lunches... more later. Tourists are always welcome as the proprietor, Milan better know as Micky, and several of his staff speak a variety of languages and have a natural charm which builds the great atmosphere.There are two levels to the restaurant, then ground floor, usually dominated by working locals and the upper balcony which is usually the preserve of Levoca's burgeoning cafe-society youth.Today, we had the 'locals' lunch menu which consisted of garlic soup with sheep's cheese and croutons, followed by seared chicken breast with salad and chips... all for €3.30 each. Most locals don't drink alcohol with lunch as Slovakia has zero tolerance to drink driving, but we were on foot and still the bill only came to €8.30. So, what you get is: really good honest food, charming service and the rare sense of feeling at home in a foreign bar/restaurant.They do not serve meals in the evening, when Planeta Levoca becomes a great bar with a few snacks on offer and more local colour than is good for you.It's a really super place and we will return time and time again.

Wonderful place with delicious food and wine, stunning atmosphere of the interier and exterier with small lake, bridge and playgroung for the small ones...the owners and whole staff are incredibly competent and useful, they organized a wedding for me & my husband, everything went smoothly and it was one of the most beautiful days of our lives! I visited this place with my friend few days ago. It is very quiet and lovely place with a good tea and many cake options, even for celiacs. Portions are big. About the service, personal is nice and friendly, willing to help with your choice. Honestly, I was shocked from the beginning with the attitude of the waiter but at the end it was very nice from him, he was quite entertaining. The floors were a bit dirty but since it was snow outside it is acceptable that they wont clean the floors every 10 minutes. It is just a shame that they close so early, because I would be able to sit there till 10pm. However, they were really nice, even after closing time, they didnt kick us out. :)
