Decided to try this for breakfast after reading all of the fantastic reviews. We were not disappointed. Definitely a small town feel, with a long line, but we were able to get seated right away at the counter. My husband had the eggs Benedict, I had French toast and bacon, and my son had the largest breakfast burrito that we had ever seen. The food was fantastic and the service was wonderful. Definitely recommend!

We were in La crosse again this past weekend but could not get to an old standby in time so we looked up and found this place. We were not disappointed at all! Love the tacos and Lemon/powdered sugar pastry. The whole place just clicks for us. Great coffee, wonderful staff, very cool place, and the food could not have been better. We actually had breakfast there both days we were in town. Can't wait to return!

This is a great little place to meet people for coffee or lunch. It's conveniently located and quiet enough for you to hear each other talk. The service has always been friendly and helpful. The salad bar is decent if you want lunch.

Right the near the university, which was perfect as we were visiting. Selection quite good. Prices - meh. Could cost quite a bit to build your own omelette. My philly omelette was good, but pretty dry. Hash browns were excellent. Biscuits and gravy good- sandwich was again dry but tasty. Had a new guy server who, besides forgetting spoons for coffee, was friendly and pretty good for his first day. You can see the draw based upon options and location. Weâll give it another shot in the future.

Had lunch at this Cafe which is open for breakfast and lunch. Lovely scenic setting nestled in the hills on the grounds of the Shrine. Sufficient variety of food (sandwiches, salads, appetizers) including for people who are vegetarians. Excellent chicken salad sandwich served with a nice garbanzo pasta salad. Also there are a couple of German dishes featured on the menu.
