This was an excellent lunch spot for our work team of 6 people. All in all, our table had a vegetable plate, bacon cheeseburger, chef salad, chicken fried steak, and two grilled pork chop daily specials. Overall everyone was happy, although, those with the grilled pork chop said the meat was a little tough and dry. My cucumber salad was especially good, and I would return for another work lunch.

Heroes Cafe is located in the Heart of Downtown Cleburne in the Wright Plaza Building. Our friendly staff serves up American Comfort Food while the brand honors American Heroes such as service members and police/fire personnel!
Heroes is the kind of place you hope to stumble onto one day. Located inside the historic Wright Plaza, their seating is open between quaint shops. The pace is hometown-relaxed, and the food was excellent and very reasonably priced. I really enjoyed their brisket sandwich. If you're in Cleburne, give this place a try!
Each day they have specialty cupcakes. She specializes in exotic flavors. Bacon, beer pretzel cupcakes!!! oh my goodness DELICIOUS!! The prices are very affordable. They also have specialty cakes and cookies. She keeps some of the flavors in the case so you may go and try different flavors each day of the week.

You can tell this is a locals favorite. The food was plentiful and well prepared. Our wait staff was enjoyable. If back in town will definitely make a stop here again. Come hungry, you wonât be disappointed
After checking out there menu on line I was a little skeptical after seeing prices and that I would have to pay $1.00 for refills on my coffee. I changed my mine real quick. I ordered the biscuit and gravy with a piece off sausage and a cup of joe. The bisque and gravy was excellent. The cup of joe so good and the cup was so large I didn't need a refill. The service was the best. I also ordered two of there pimento cheese bisques to have for lunch and they were very good. And I ordered two blueberry biscuits for breakfast this morning and I really enjoyed them. I have found me a new favorite breakfast place.looking forward to going back.
