Find out what Cafe restaurants to try in Giza. Spot a tourist in New York, and chances are you can’t be sure exactly why they’re in town. Broadway? Shopping? A quest to find the world’s best bagel? It’s anyone’s guess. At Giza, though, it’s pretty simple—travelers come here to see the Pyramids of Giza, one of the Seven Wonders of the World. After strolling the bazaar we stopped here for a true Egyptian meal. More than enough food served by very friendly staff. Take as much time to enjoy and relax in the air conditioning. Unique meals include pita with many sauces along with beef, chicken kebabs and a beef sausage. Dessert was good as well.
Have light snacks or refreshing beverages while you enjoy a calm atmosphere at Zen Cafe & Lounge; a cozy extension of the Lobby of Holiday Inn Cairo Maadi.
Iâve been using this place off and on while Iâm staying at the Holiday Inn. Itâs a comfortable place to sit and pass the time. The coffee is nice. Also had food and wine there. The waiters are not intrusive, pleasant and helpful. Unfortunately people are allowed to smoke inside (even though there is an outside area) which, coming from Europe I find off putting.

After walking and shopping through the Khan El Khalili Bazaar, we returned to this lovely restaurant we'd spotted. What a great choice - it ended up being the best Egyptian food we had in a week in the country. It's a pretty place, with good waiters in traditional dress. The food was delicious and there are many choices. Make sure to have a meal at Nagib Mafouz when you're in Old Cairo!

Located directly on the Nile (500 meters after you pass by HSBC building on the right hand side, directly on the Nile) as you enter Maadi, makes The Platform - Corniche El Maadi easily accessible from mostly everywhere in Cairo, including the Nile (Throug
A Syrian Authentic restaurant located on the left of the entrance called âDar Wardâ which translates to âHouse of Rosesâ.Location on the nile river is fabulous.Food is excellent and truly authentic. Service is very good. Kibbe is highly recommended, in addition to the usual Arabic Mezza.Their mix grill is very good. And wrap it up with Arabic sweets and a cup of tea....

So we found this place completely by accident and it was the happiest accident ever. So cute to look at, nice staff (although you have to beg for attention to order and pay the bill). We ordered a beef tajin for lunch and it reminded us of home back in South Africa. Really good and the pasteries looked delicious in the fridge. If you stumble here, take a seat!
