Reviews on Cafe food in Gatlinburg, Tennessee, United States. Gatlinburg, at the heart of Great Smoky Mountains National Park, is an ideal base for a family looking to explore the park's numerous offerings. After you've gone hiking, fishing, rafting or horseback riding, ride an elevator 342 feet to the top of the Gatlinburg Space Needle for stunning views of the Smokies. Tennessee Jedâs just earned my acclaim for absolutely standing-out in a crowded field of Southern BBQ joints. Here in the South, where BBQ is considered an offering from Heaven, and generally available on almost every corner of every city, it can be difficult to differentiate one joint from another. However, Tennessee Jedâs in Gatlinburg is doing something very unique, and uniquely well. Save a bit of culinary capacity when visiting Gatlinburg, because you donât want to miss a chance to experience what Melissa, Chris and Henderson are creating over there. They have a Reuben sandwich that is created in a similar fashion of a typical BBQ brisket, but as the name implies, using a brined (Corned beef) brisket. YUM. Imagine the barked exterior of a slow-cooked traditional BBQ brisket, combined with the succulent âCornedâ component of a traditional Corned beef cut. Confused just a bit, so too will your taste buds become when you take the first bite of this magnificent creation. They deserve a Nobile Prize for their creativity and success with this sandwich. The menu also includes a ridiculously delicious and tender turkey breast that is carefully crafted onto its own delightful cacophony of goodness. The BBQ sauce is richly delicious, the desserts made on-premise by Melissa every day. I am told, but have not yet verified, that the mornings breakfast fares, including biscuits and gravy, are equally âto-die forâ. Canât wait to get back there to validate this too! BTW- even the salads are a respectable blend of crisp fresh mixed-greens and done with the same commitment to excellence as the remainder of the menu. Oh, and Melissa grows and collects her own herbs, hand-picked with her daughter EVERY DAY before heading to Tennessee Jedâs to make another days patrons tickled-pink to have the opportunity to experience this establishments great offerings. Go to Tennessee Jedâs, youâll be happy you did!

Great restaurant for BBQ. They have THE best tea in town. I had the unsweet and it was wonderful - ended up having 4 glasses of it. BBQ sandwich was really good. Green beans and fried corn also good. Rest of crew also enjoyed their meals. Except for mac & cheese - and from all the comments on here, maybe they need to revamp their recipe. I would definitely go back here next time I'm in town.

What a quaint little cafe!!! A "Mom and Pop" operation, this cafe is spotlessly clean, the atmosphere inviting and relaxing, the food A+, and the service friendly and efficient! Outside sheltered dining over a little babbling brook situated in the woods story-book charming. The food is high quality and visually appealing!Thank you! Made my day.

Honestly I would have never found the place, but I was trying to find a healthy option for lunch, knowing that the entire weekend I was to eat cheeseburgers, pizza, and pancakes. Hidden back along East Parkway and across from the Smoky Mountain Winery, try this place for lunch. We had a couple of wraps and they were delicious. Also try the wellness shots.

We decided to eat here and we were not disappointed! They have a really great American burger but they also offer up elk and bison burgers as well. My husband got the Reuben sandwich and he said it was excellent. They had pizza as well. There fries are served with some sort of seasoning on them and they were pretty good. Service was good. Prices were fair. All in all I would recommend this place.
