Awesome power food that satisfies hunger while tantalizing the taste buds! I love the kale so much that I ate the WHOLE container while writing this article! Now letâs talk about the smoothie. Wholesome ingredients mixed together in a cool concoction that melts in your mouth without the guilt of a sweet toxic fast-food box mix drink. The atmosphere in this establishment is also inspiring with the plants, cleanliness and kind owner/operators. This is a great place for the family, meeting, or just a power refresh as you drive down Battlefield Parkway. Go for a treat today, you wonât regret it!
I've always loved Waffle House, even late on Saturday night! They have the very best chili and hash browns of any restaurant that I've ever eaten at before. The service is always fast. Great value! They don't have Coke Zero!

A cozy little BBQ restaurant next to the incline railway at the foot of Lookout Mountain.
We're always interested in trying out true local restaurants to get the homestyle food appreciated by local residents. We had read about the Purple Daisy and happened to pass it when we were in Chattanooga so we decided to stop for lunch. We didn't realize that "picnic" actually meant the restaurant would be serving the food on paper plates with plastic cutlery! There were no seats inside so we ate outside and there is no ambience in either place. But those points can be passed over if the food in a restaurant is really good. However, the barbecue pork sandwiches--their specialty-- were rather dry, without sauce, because the idea was to add sauce from bottles at the table. The banana pudding was raved about so we tried that, and were glad that we did, because we can give that a positive rating. It was very tasty and some of the best we've had.

A dining experience with a one-of-a-kind view from Loverâs Leap. The full service dining terraces are the perfect place to See 7 States while feasting on delicious southern cuisine with a modern twist.
I had the shrimp and grits and my wife had the brisket tacos. Both dishes lacked any real flavor. The taco meat was tough and fatty. Overall, nothing spectacular about the food.Typical tourist venue food: mediocre, overpriced fare. The atmosphere was great though. A fiddler was playing some bluegrass music that we listened to while overlooking the mountain.

awesome Southern contemporary bistro
Having a grandchild who is celiac (gluten intolerant), we were very pleased with the personal service the staff gave us, concerning her order. The waitress assured us that special care would be taken in the kitchen to insure that her food was prepared without contamination by non gluten free items.A young man came to our table to tell us that she could choose whatever she liked from the menu, and they would do their best to provide it, with her dietary needs in mind. The staff could not have been more attentive nor gracious in helping us.The food was excellent, too. I highly recommend this restaurant, both for its food and service.
