I remember growing up in Waterloo and loving the Maid-Rite sandwich but seriously after years of being away from here I don't get it. Perhaps is the nostalgia because it can't be sandwiches. I guess I just stopped drinking the cool aid.

A nice departure from the modern industrial hard surfaced noise chambers that have popped up lately in Cedar Falls. You can actually hear your partner across your small table. No need to text them. Your digestion will benefit. Your nerves will calm.And guess what...the food has been great. What a novelty for Cedar Falls/ Waterloo. Great for a quick lunch for a group of four. I'll be back.

Panera Bread offers one a solid lunch/dinner with good food. I enjoy the frontega chicken sandwich and a bowl of broccoli cheddar soup with bread on the side and a Pepsi. Service is friendly and fast as it only takes a few minutes for the food to be brought to your table/your name to be called for pick up. $16.00 for lunch is high for me so I do not partake very often.

I purchased two items: a cinnamon-covered, cream-cheese filled donut and a cinnamon roll. I had the donut for breakfast and saved the cinnamon roll for later. The texture, freshness, and flavors of the donut were excellent. It was large too. The man at the counter was very friendly and helpful, wrapping my cinnamon roll to keep fresh. I didn't eat the cinnamon roll until 12 hours later. It was excellent and enormous. I highly recommend both items.

This restaurant is just perfect! Every aspect is above expectations. The decor is high class- a modern farmhouse feel that is clean and open. The wait staff is the best I've experienced, as evidenced by their use of the term, friends, when addressing the table. The food- OMG- so delicious. The BEST sausage anyone at our table has ever had. I had lemon pancakes with cardamom whip cream, which I highly recommend.
