We have been here many times with family and friends. This time, half way through the Seven Hanging Valleys cliff walk, we took two friends on their first visit.We ordered smoothies and lemonade, which were excellent. Lunch was the daily quiche and salad, and others had wraps. Food delivered quickly and good portion sizes. Food was fantastic. Service as usual friendly and efficient. Definitely continues to be one of our regular lunchtime stops.

Visited twice on our recent visit to Carvoeiro and really enjoyed our meals. On the Carvoeiro out road and away from restaurant hill, Tony's offers good food, service and decent prices as well as a nice relaxed atmosphere. Chico who runs the place and also cooks is a great host and happy to talk all night about football, particularly about his club Sporting Lisbon.The prawns done in garlic are fantastic and my wife's favourite dish and at â¬7.50 are really good value. On our last night in Carvoeoro my wife and I shared the garlic prawns as a starter and for mains my wife had the sirloin steak with salad and a baked potato which cost â¬11 while I had the small steak with chips and an egg on top. I might say that the small steak is not small at all and at â¬7.50 is again great value. Pints are â¬3 and a gin and tonic with a good measure â¬5.We only found Tony's last year for the first tine and now really enjoy going there. Miguel, one of the waiters is a really nice guy who always has a smile on his face and is very efficient. All in all a great place to visit an spend an hour or two in a relaxed and pleasant environment.

Visited with wife and two kids today for lunch. Enjoyed it so much that we returned for dinner. Really good food at really good prices, highly recommend.

Visited a couple of times whilst we have been in Carvoeiro.Stunning views across the beach and sea and lovely cocktails to go with it. Very reasonably priced.Great service and just a friendly little spot for drinks

Called into Smilers bar for a drink and decided on cocktails. Unfortunately the drinks were not very nice at all. I couldnât taste the alcohol and two completely different cocktails looked remarkably the same colour. The juices the drinks were mixed with were a weird cross been a fruit juice and a squash. Husband ordered a coke which didnât arrive but it wasnât on the bill to be fair. Left a cocktail as really not too good and went somewhere else. It is a good spot to people watch for sure but I would suggest avoiding the cocktails. Should have played it safe with a good old g and t!
