We visited Burford on our way to a wedding and wanted to relax the day before and stumbled into here. We decided to for the afternoon tea for two and wow was the a lot but did we ate it? Absolutely. Lots of sandwiches, lovely scones and 4 full sized cakes. I even saw the put into cake box anything people couldn’t eat. Yes it was a tad pricey but well worth it. The only reason I’ve given 4 rather than five is that to me five star needs to be wow and whilst the food did that:The saucer was wornThe sandwiches had a bit too much mayonnaise on every option for me The toilets needed a bit of a refurb and stairs up to themWe had a bit of a wait to payBut overall great and I would definitely we revisit again.Hi LauraJLondon, Thank you for your comments. We are very pleased you would revisit us again in Huffkins Burford. We would in future, be very happy to change any of the sandwich options to your liking. I am sorry that you received a damaged saucer, this would have been an oversight and I will make sure we are looking more vigilantly before sending out items to our customers. The toilets are due a refurb and we have been in contact with head office. Hope to see you again soon in the future. Many thanks, Nina

Although the plant selection is vast and the other sections are very wide ranging I feel that the prices reflect the area and that the cafeteria is very limited as to their menu and not everyone wants extremely healthy eating at expensive prices maybe a return to wholesome home style cooking at decent prices would be beneficial
