What a gem of a place. Tucked away, please search out as so worth it. Lovely interior, friendly staff & the homemade quiche with salad was delightful. Great coffee for the experts So impressed with the selection of cakes on show that we paid it a second visit in the same day & sampled the scones warm light & yummy. We saw the afternoon teas being served & wow they looked enormous & a super variety. Will definitely try that next visit to Bewdley. Small & quirky but independent & in keeping with historic Bewdley. Give it a try what's not to like?Thank you for taking the time to write such a wonderful review. We are glad you enjoyed your time at Clementines and look forward to seeing you again to hopefully sample the afternoon tea!

Bewdley Garden Kitchen is situated within Bewdley Museum, serving hot drinks and meals from 10.00 am to 4.00 pm. Our motto is 'sustainable, fair trade, and local'.
Don't come here for afternoon tea if you have a hankering for dainty cucumber sandwiches and bite-size mini-cakes. Oh, no - the sandwiches have generous fillings on healthy rustic bread, the cakes are delicious (with the chocolate cake reminding me of The Chocolate Cake Of My Childhood) and the scones - oh, the scones! Must be among some of the best I have ever eaten. This "afternoon tea" can keep us going all evening and right through to breakfast the next day. Will make a point of further visits to this excellent and friendly cafe in future.Wonderful, and many big thanks for sharing your experience. The bread is fresh every day from the local baker, cut with our own fair hands, and the fillings made to demand, so we are jolly pleased we hit the spot. Our scones are getting national attention, so we can't say more about that, other than thanks again! But the chocolate cake - wow. Sounds like you had a real 'madeleine' experience there. Some of us are so very fond of Proust, and for this we bow down to you!

Arley Tearooms, General Stores & Post Office is open all year round, in an idilyic location next to the River Severn and Severn Valley Railway, in an area of outstanding natural beauty. Angela and Stephen have only recently taken over the premises and rec
called in saturday 23rd feb waited nearly 20 minutes to get served gave up service was so slow 2 other couples gave up whats gone wrong hereI will apologise for the long wait you had due to us being both popular and really busy and the unseasonally warm weather; how inconsiderate of other customers to get in the queue before you arrived and create a delay for you. If a restaurant turned you away because they had no vacant tables would you leave a negative review??? In February, when the weather is usually cold and miserable, we have very few customers and therefore have not yet recruited our summer staff as it is too early in the year and the business cannot afford to pay the increased wages, or perhaps you would like us to significantly increase the prices to pay for extra staff to stand around doing nothing for most of the winter, just in case you happen to come by. This particular weekend, it was more like a mid-summer day yet we only have minimal winter staff. The following weekend, the weather was not so good and there were nowhere near the number of customers. This time last year, we were suffering from the Beast from the East!!!! and had no customers. We will be advertising for our new staff soon to be able to cope with the increased demands of the better summer weather.

We had hopped off the Severn Valley Railway and were looking for a smart place to enjoy some lunch with a good range of options, we stumbled across Healys and from the second I walked in I knew it was the right place. I stated that I was Vegan and asked if they had anything for me? The warm welcome and specials board was very assuring with a further good range on the menu. Myself and my Husband were both pleased with the service, quality and range of food and if we are ever back in Bewdley we will definetly return! Just one small suggestion from my Husband "needs wifi" other than that all was perfect! Thank you. Many thanks for your lovely review and so glad you enjoyed your visit, we do have wifi installed, on blackboard behind bar advertised, I will get a larger notice to let visitors know we have this service available, and once again thank youAnne
