We visited here for the first time before Christmas 2018. We took my mother-in-law and teenage boys. We all thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon tea. It is a fixed menu (though they can accommodate for special diets) and fixed price. The tea selection was very extensive, and everything everyone tried was very good. The sandwiches, cookies, and everything was served beautifully and tasted delicious! Everything is homemade. The service was impeccable.So, when we decided to have a 90th birthday party for my mother-in-law, we had it here. It was a wonderful party of 31 guests. Jill & the staff were fabulous! Everything was as we had hoped. The guests enjoyed all the delicious goodies and thought the atmosphere was comforting and fun.We highly recommend having tea, lunch, or a party here. We could not have asked for nicer people, better service or better food. We will definitely be returning soon!Jill, thank you so much for such a thoughtful review! We truly appreciate it. We look forward to seeing you next time!

Nice atmosphere on the patio, staff was very kind to our small dog. Sandwiches were very tasty. One odd thing - you go to the counter to order, serve yourself to drinks, and then they bring your food to the table, after which you have to bus your own table. On the check-out, we were asked how much we wanted to tip (by percentage). Why would you tip at all under the circumstances?

Had breakfast in this mom and pop restaurant three times in the last month, it was a pleasant surprise the first time and Iâve been pleased and impressed each time weâve visited since. They do the basics well and portions are generous.

I had their tomato basil soup, and it may have been the best tomato soup I ever had. It was topped with dried mushrooms, croutons, and some sort of flavored oil. This was complimented with an enormous Reuben sandwich, complete with Ziggyâs house-made corned beef. Altogether it was a big lunch, but I managed to finish (and enjoy) every bite.Ziggyâs is a REAL deliâall too rare in the Asheville area.
