Good food, great service, large portions, endless coffee. What's not to like? It has been at least ten years since The Fetching Mrs. Rat and I have been to The Toast. Nothing has changed. Eggs done right, toast is perfect, bacon is crisp.Get the big breakfast and you won't need lunch until much later in the day. We have never been here for anything other than breakfast, but I am sure that the lunch is just as good.

Had heard about this place from friends about their great breakfast. I got there well afternoon and was in the mood for a hamburger (although breakfast was still available). The hamburger and sweet tea were both excellent! The hamburger wasnât big but had an excellent taste. The french fries were also good. I definitely recommend this place. Iâll be back!!!

My friend and I were looking for a different place to eat lunch besides the big chain restaurants so we settled on this one. We were seated immediately at a big round table in this privately owned, quaint little hole-in-the-wall. This isn't fancy by any means but the food was great. I had the tuna salad sandwich on toasted wheat bread and fries with decaf coffee. The delicious tuna salad was sweet and different than any I've had before. The fries were served hot and the coffee was freshly made. We were too full for dessert but everything is made right there so next time I'll save room for some.

Good breakfast, good BLT's, great tenderloins. Desserts as well. Always nice to support a local restaurant. One of the few places I eat in Anderson. Enjoy a nice easy paddle on the water or walk in the park and then eating here. Service can be slow when busy, but food and s always fresh and the scenery is a nice place to not be in such a hurry.

If you havenât ever heard or been to a Jackâs donuts your missing out. By far the best donuts around. Amazing selection, lots to choose from, and they are all delicious! Service is quick and friendly. For the size of the donuts and the taste they are a bargain. If your buying for a group get the Jackâs dozen you get a dozen plus donut holes.
