Disc Golf has arrived in Greater Manchester! Manchester Disc Golf along with Trafford Council, The Friends of Longford Park and DUFFA have installed a new FREE-TO-PLAY 18-hole disc golf course in Longford Park, Stretford, Manchester. Thanks to funding from Veolia Trust, Thrive Trafford and a crowd funder, there are 18 permanent baskets (aka 'holes') on the course. There are both beginner-friendly and pro tee pads - so fun for all the family! The course is now complete and discs can be hired from the local café (please check the café opening hours and ensure you have enough time to play before heading out if hiring discs!). After which we return to the arena (a chance for everyone to beat their scores). To conclude, we pass everyone out individualised score cards for their climb, and their games.
