Rain Forest botanical paradise: the flowers and plants in this garden will take one's breath away, fantastic views from hill top looking out east over the Atlantic and the 'Scotland District of Barbados, benches for resting in secluded shady spots, the peace that one wishes, missing from one's work life is here. Worth more than money, relax and restore the soul...
We weren't planning on stopping at this attraction, but so glad we did. They provide a laminated map that tells you about many of the flowers you will see along the pathways and of course, the different paths you can take. Very well maintained. Employees are very friendly. Took us about an hour at a leisurely place.

Well during my holiday to Barbados I visited Welchman Hall Gully twice and it was truly a wonderful experience calm an atmosphere you could breath in and almost touch amazing trees plants and if you are lucky the cheeky green monkeys. Barbados is an amazing unspoilt island still a " little England " get out of town and visit the countryside places like Welchmans are a real treat step back into an England of the 1950s peaceful great kind people. Of course a review wouldn't be complete without a mention for the wonderful Connie who welcomes you at the reception point not only a beautiful lady but she can also cook you a tasty local style snack not to be missed. Have fun !

Beautiful, fully-functional tableware decorated with traditional designs.
Really friendly and helpful staff were very patient with us whilst we painstakingly selected which pieces we wanted to buy (we wanted all of them, but our luggage allowance wasn't up for the challenge!) We think the prices are totally worth it for the quality and originality of the pieces. Lovely surroundings; calm and tranquil away from the hustle and bustle of the beaches and city. A great places to have a lunch after shopping and exploring the amazing local artwork. If you want to take something away from Barbados Earthworks is definitely worth a visit.

We create batik art and hand painted materials for clothing and home accessories .Batik is an art created with hot wax and dyes. It is an ancient technique used to design white or light coloured fabric. At the studio we offer workshops for one day. The student is taught the rudiments of the art after which they create two batiks pieces for they personal use.
This is an amazing place to visit! Gorgeous views, cool breeze and some of the kindest, gentle souls you will ever meet! Honestly, this lovely artist is a breath of fresh air, sharing his talents, even offering a workshop, what? Yes! Sharing his craft! We can’t wait to visit again next year, hoping to once again enjoy home made lemonade and pumpkin fritters in paradise! Stay safe

We stopped here after visiting Earthworks. Lovely little place for lunch, small menu, delicious food with fantastic sweeping views of the Barbados country side. A great addition when visiting Earthworks next door.
