Come and experience sake’s history and production on a 3 hour tasting tour. Tasting over 30 variety of different sakes, you will surely find your favorite one! Embark on this sake adventure. I welcome you to my sake tasting experience in Kyoto. Fushimi area is famous not only Fushimi inari but also sake production. Kyoto is 2nd biggest production in Japan. Basically Kyoto's sake tastes sweet because of soft water. We'll explore two of my favorite breweries, sake museum and local bar. I'm passionate about sake, and I’d like to share with you the process of sake making, comparing different kinds and brands. You will taste the differences between sakes—the highest quality, unfiltered, unpasteurized, and many other seasonable sakes. We help to find your favorite type of sake!

It is a small private tour that you can enjoy the nature, traditional crafts, history, and the Tamba mountain range in one day. After a short drive we visit the Imperial Palace, residence of the Japanese Tenno until 1868. It continues to the Nishijin Kimono Center, where kimonos have been produced for centuries. You will see a kimono show there. In Daitokuji Zen Temple you get an insight into Buddhism. Finally, drive to Shimogamo Shinto Shrine, World Heritage Site and Kyoto's oldest shrine. For the 1500 Yen surcharge, you can optionally visit a sake brewery and sample 5 sake varieties. After the tour there is the possibility to have a Japanese dinner in our restaurant.
