As a local resident in Värmdö, Bistraud is the premium location for a great meal. The location is absolutely great. Big outside-seating just above the sea and the beach. The food is very good, with good specials each day. Kind of a mix of traditional Swedish food with a foreign (french) twist. Prices are reasonable and the service is always top of the line. Also good with kids, which gets crayons, etc upon arrival. There is also a small playground on the beach where you have good view of them from where you are sitting if they get restless during coffee and wants to run around on the beach. Well worth a visit if visiting Stockholm, the direct-buses (a 30 minute ride) to outer Värmdö from Slussen stops just outside.

à t här med min familj efter bad på Grisslinge havsbad. Läget är inte det bästa men maten var riktigt bra. Vi brukar äta indiskt så därför är vi rätt kräsna men maten var som sagt kanonbra och vilket naanbröd.

On a Sunday brunch with my family: all you can eat selection of salmon, herrings, turkey, vegetables, and finally ice creams, chocolates, and small cakes. Good quality price ratio. Not everything matched my preferences but all was good. Amazing view to the sea and nice staff. There are also mini golf and volleyball nearby (17 June 2018).

This lovely establishment is located in Stockholm city's suburban area Saltsjö-Boo, Nacka municipality, at a seaside ground overlooking the boat traffic in the water. The aesthetics of the architecture, interior decoration and location is top notch and not expected to be found in a villa area. The service was easy going and professional at the same time. The food dish I had was a plate of mixed meats with suitable condiments and the combined beverage consisted of red wine chosen by the head waiter was excellent. The whole experience was a bit unexpected and a very pleasant one. If you like meat of various sorts this establishment is highly recommended!
