Bar and Restaurant El Establo has variety in steaks, seafood, pastas, salads and more. We have two environments: family and sport bar. We are located in the center of San Ramon, on main road. The best atmosphere, the best quality and the best service are
We went here for an informal lunch and really enjoyed our food. We tried several things, including a pizza, some chorizos, a chicken cordon bleu, and a steak. They were all very good, although the chorizo wasn't really amazing. We'll likely go back, although the prices were a bit up there (especially for Costa Ricans).

We are a Smoke House, our smoked is authentic and with a lot of dedication to the quality and good taste of our smoked meats
My companion and I have seen this place many times and wanted to give it a try. The location is convenient and there is parking right out front and street parking close by. Unfortunately the location also has a lot of street noise, which makes for difficult conversation at times. There are traffic lights directly outside and it is a busy street. The front of the restaurant is open air, so the noise invades the dining area.We ordered the Plato Surtido, or the mixed grill. It had a combination of various meats, chicken, ribs and beef. It was accompanied with two sauces (mild and hot) and a very small serving of coleslaw and banana ceviche to share. The surtido also included fried yucca, a bowl of black ban dip and tortilla chips. We went for an early supper, around 5 in the afternoon. We were the only customers at the time. Service was quick and friendly and the food was prepared without too much of a wait. Presentation of the food was very nice. The ribs were good. I would order them again. The chicken and beef had good flavour, although both were dry. The black bean dip with tortilla chips was good and although the yucca was good, I would have preferred fries or another style of potato to accompany this instead of the yucca. With two local beer each the bill was reasonable at 21,780.

Texas Craft PizzaSan Ramon de AlejuelaTexas Craft Pizza is in San Ramon, just off the pista coming into town is is about 500 metres beyond the mall on the opposite side of the street. It has parking in front of the building. The restaurant is co-located with a seafood restaurant, Sal Marina, but they each have their own dining areas. We went mid-afternoon and the restaurant was not too busy. There is seating for about 60 on the pizza side of the restaurant, so it is a reasonably large area. They also have a lot of steaks on the menu, but we were there mainly for pizza on this visit. The pizza prep area is located behind glass, so you can see the pizzas being prepped and then slid into the wood fired oven. One thing I noticed that was a little different in my experience, the crust was rolled out and then cooked for a little while, then brought out and topped and then back into the oven to finish. We had four different pizzas and an order of shrimp wrapped in bacon. The shrimp dish was a good sie, with large shrimp, boiled potatoes, mix veg and a salad. The bacon wrapped shrimp were covered in a bbq sauce that took away from the flavour of the shrimp, but otherwise is was a good plate. We got three of the four pizzas that we ordered. These are a thin crispy crust pizza, very flavourful and a good amount of toppings. I prefer a thin-crust style pizza and this was right up my alley. Because you can see the prep area, you can see that the mozza is the Memberâs Selection brand from Pricesmart. No attempt to hide the brand. The fourth pizza never showed up. It was explained to us simply there was an âincident in the kitchenâ and they were not able to make any more pizzas. We couldnât see any problems, but who really knows what happened. I am guessing that they ran out of dough, because there was a lot of dough prep happening. (More on this later) We werenât informed of this until most of the food had arrived at the table, so an order of shrimp brochettes was made. The shrimp brochettes were very well done. You could taste the grill flavour. The order included corn on the cob and a salad. We had two craft beers from an Atenas brewery, pricey at 3,700 each, 1 michelado and 2 sangrias. Total for 5 was just under 53,000.Now, about my guess that they ran out of dough. Because you can view the pizza prep area, we noticed a lot of dough tubs with what I am guessing was proofed dough being brought out and readied. One thing I found really odd, was that when the dough was taken out of the bags, the bags were thrown into the wood fired pizza oven. That was a little bit of a turn off seeing that.
