Recommended the hamburger, I visited this restaurant often and the last time the hamburger received was "cold", the waiter said that will replace but he did was to "reheat" the one received and the bread was broken and missed parts. Really disappointed for the good service received in past visits, but this time was really bad. I did not want to complain due to the time and the company because was dining with my wife.The service was not good, this is the true. We´re really sorry for your bad experience, For Leño y Carbón, customer satisfaction is the main thing, and that is why we ask for the most sincere apologies, sometimes situations happen that get out of hand, but our effort is that each customer and each service, is of the best quality. If possible, we would like you to make amends for your next visit, if you would be so kind as to give us another opportunity.

If you are vegetarian and miss the taste of a good burger...that's the place...excellent mushroom on a burger bun with the best french fries in town...!!!!Accompanied by the widest selection of beer I have seen in a bar around...all served with a smile by the beautiful bar tender and waitresses...recomended on a lunch break or evening dinner...

Last time were in Escazu, the food was great here.This time,no comparison.I was looking foward to having lunch here,so I took a walk from the apartment we were staying at.I was by myself,and sat inside.I ordered falafel platter,with fries,and pita bread.Falafel,tasted like it was sitting all day,and they just refried it.Pita bread,how can you screw it up? Dry,overheated,also stale.The fries were really good.They also make a good limonada.Unfortunatly,wont be going back.They really let this place go

El Novillo Alegre is a famous restaurant in Costa Rica, with average food quality and high prices. This restaurant food quality is below peer restaurant in Santa Ana and Escazu. If you want a to have a nice dinner in the area, I recommend you explore options around Escazu like Avenida Escazu and Multiplaza-Intercontinental or in Santa Ana at City Place and Terrazas Lindora. I attended a gracious invitation of highly esteemed friends, this Restaurant, located in Curridabat, its similar Escazu, and attention and offer extensive food for those who appreciate taste high quality meats and this chain of restaurants / butcher shops offer Better cuts of meats than you can want. The parking space is limited and customers are many.
