Probably our favourite dining experience anywhere. This unique Restaurant only opens Monday to Saturday from 12 to 4PM, or when supplies run out. Order your fish or meat as you enter from the fish display cabinet and be prepared to wait fir maybe half an hour. Always busy, busy, busy. Great value always and superior food. Fish highly recommended. Located on the 125 about a 5 minute drive from Lagos, at where at first looks like a garden centre. Make sure to visit the gardens/farm/village.

Excellent grilled fish
We've reviewed this restaurant twice before and were looking forward to eating here again this year. It was even better than we remembered. I always order grilled Sea Bass and it is as good as it gets here. Beautifully crispy on the outside and soft and flavoursome on the inside. All this from a charcoal grill, amazing! My wife was equally enthusiastic about the Monkfish Kebab. All this can be had with wine and beer for around £45.00. Fantastic value. Service is friendly and attentive, and they always remember you when you return the next year.

As an avid fisherman and historian I was drawn to this place, "Arribale" being a chant the not forgotten Portuguese would use when fetching their nets from the then vast and empty algarvian beaches. It seems the name is not forgotten in this restaurant as the burly chef brought to my table the best seabass I have ever had the pleasure to enjoy. Sided with amazing potatoes and salad I was a happy chappy. My friends shared the meat platter which looked like something you'd see on TV and they said it was indeed the best meal they'd had in Europe. The owner Grimace was attentive and led his team like a true legend, we will return!

Worth searching through the streets for. Stopped here just as they were opening for the evening on a lovely day in October. Found via Trip Advisor. All we wanted was a quick âchicken and chipsâ after a long afternoon, and to then be one our way as weâre staying a good few miles away. I loved this bar. The food was great. Piri Piri was the best. Real chips! Salad was nicely dressed and fresh. To my regret I only had one Super Bock. Also had the nibbly tray thing with olives, bread and garlicy carrots - love them too. I could have stayed here all night. All week in fact! Recommended without hesitation. P.S. they also let my wife use their loo before they were technically even open. Plus points for that.
