We slept here for 2 nights during our cycling trip of the Ciro trail. Beautiful place, owner is the best. Will tell you every inside about the the region and history. Good food nice rooms, home made wine. Magical place next to the river. You can't borrow the canoe to explore the river! This was my second visit to Etno Kuca. While the first one trully met my expectations, this time one dish (a veal chop) was below average.The veal supposed to be served in a prosciutto sauce but we didn't taste or saw any of the sauce. Beside that the chop definitely was not fresh, I had a feeling like chewing a rubber. We couldn't eat it so forwarded it to the house cat :)Other dish - beef skewer with vegetables - was ok, but nothing special. For the dessert we had a house made cherry cake which piece was too small.We mentioned to our waiter (who is very welcoming and polite btw) the veal was dissapointing but received no excuse from his side.Anyway, the Etno Kuca is a must while you are in MeÄugorje. I am sure this was only a bad day.

I spent a week in Medjugorje and ended up eating here most nights. I found the service and food quality good, and the prices very reasonable. I highly recommend their Cevapi (savory, local sausage) and their Lasagne Bolognese. However, I thought their pizza was below average. They have a large, private dining room in the back of the restaurant to accommodate 30 or so people, so that's a big plus if you're traveling with a large group. Finally, unlike most restaurants that prefer to give group tables one check and let the guests figure out how to divide it up, Tomato's waiters trust you to simply tell them what you ate and then bill you for only your portion as you prepare to depart. I loved that kind of trust. Excellent family eating location.

Everything we ordered was way below average. They didn't have most of the dishes we planned to order (and that obviously were on the menu), and not even a glass of lemonade!Chicken was dry and stiff, the parmesan cheese sauce that covered it was cold. French fries were barely lukewarm. Dumplings were disgusting, and not fully cooked.Sarma were tasteless.Waiters seemed to be bothered by our presence. It looked like they could't wait for us to leave, as they kept pushing us to order as soon as we got seated.Avoid at all costs! There are many many better option in Sarajevo's old town!
