We had a group of 8 with me that day. We arrived around 7:30 pm and waited about 30 minutes to get seated. The atmosphere of the restaurant was high traffic. The reception host was very attentive. Once seated, we were served their warm freshly baked biscuits and spread. The biscuits are âto die forâ. We order the âFamily Supperâ which comes with 2 choices of main entrees and 4 sides. It serves 12 persons so we had plenty to take home =). We chose the BBQ Chicken and Ribs. The chicken and ribs were tender and moist. Wait we also order 3 appetizers: Nacho Spinach Dip, Deep fried onions, and Nacho Cheese Dip. I would highly recommend the spinach dip and deep fried onions. I would pass on the cheese dip. As part Family supper, it came with 4 choices of sides. We chose mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese, cole slaw, and pulled pork fries. All of the sides were served in half size dish. I would highly recommend Lucilleâs as a place to go for the family.

This was actually the first Gen location I'd ever been to and I can honestly say...it set the bar pretty high for other locations!Definitely one of the best AYCE Korean BBQ restaurants! This location is big, the ambiance is great, dim blue lighting and spacious. And a little extra something is the candy that they have next to the hostess station. My kids love those little lollipops... lol... Not all Gen locations offer that.Service is always quick, attentive and friendly. We were seated in about 5 minutes and orders taken immediately. All of the marinated meats are seasoned perfectly! The beef bulgogi and Hawaiian steak are a must whenever I visit. Wonderful variety of meats all around! This time we ordered the shrimp which was also very tasty but a lot of work peeling so only ordered it once. This last visit was my husbands first time coming to Gen and he fell in love with this place too!All in all, this is a always a great dining experience! Stop by if you're ever in the mood for some Korean BBQ in Torrance...You wont be disappointed!

Stopped in for take out. Pulled pork sandwich was just average as was the potato salad. Very average BBQ.

Tamaen is a Japanese BBQ restaurant that caters the Korean Styled BBQ dishes with a more Japanese twist and high quality Wayou beef selections. Their side dishes are also great, such as their oxtail soup, kimchi cucumber with radish filling, Tamaen original salad, etc. The restaurant also has a nice Sake/Souchu list that are very suitable with BBQ beef dishes. I have always enjoyed their family style friendly service.

I had been to three L&L locations in the Northern Los Angeles area before visiting the one in Torrance, and the Torrance location is the best! I love all the food at L&L, but it can be a little bit pricey for the amount you get, but NOT in Torrance. I couldn't believe how generous the portions were! When I lifted the bags with my take-out I thought I had someone else's food because they were so heavy! The food was every bit as good as any L&L I have eaten at, but you get so much more down there in the South Bay! And the restaurant was filled with possibly more Islander's eating than you would see in Honolulu, they know what's up! This will now be a must-stop when I visit Torrance.
