My son and I stopped in for lunch. Based on the reviews this was supposed to be one of the best barbeque joints in the area. If it is then barbeque in LaGrange is not my thing. I found the meat over cooked and dry. My son felt like the food was tasteless. Yes, it was crowded with locals but it was sunday at lunch and most places were closed. A very disappointing experience. On top of that, parking is hard to find near the place and there is no place to wait if there is rain. Hi there, we are sorry to hear about your disappointing experience. Could you please email us a [email protected] and tell us these details plus the date and time of your visit. It sounds like we had an off night! As for parking, once other spots are full, most people park in the parking deck that's directly adjacent to the restaurant.

Wonderful BBQ in LaGrange. Our first visit and we really enjoyed it. The chopped pork sandwich is moist and tasty. My son had the jumbo and I had the regular - both a are very generous. We enjoyed the potato salad and the brunswick stew - both are very good. This is an authentic BBQ place - nothing fake or corporate here and the prices are fair. The sweet tea is very good.Plenty of free parking.Go enjoy!

In LaGrange for a brief visit and unsure where to go for dinner, we opted for Roger's. I'm accustomed to the mix of BBQ and catfish. Some places do one or the other, but Rogers manages to do both just fine. My husband got the all you can eat catfish, and he had more than he could eat. I opted for the catfish filet and was perfectly satisfied with the serving size.
We ate there during lunch time on a Saturday. The service was very good and the selection was great! The BBQ was provided either sliced or chopped. I wish they would add pulled. The size and taste were tremendous! They also have fantastic fresh onion fries! Not the normal rings but the entire onion!! Really good. We have since eaten there again and it was duplicated all over again.. We will return!
