I did not have high hopes for Bar-B-Que in AZ, but this place changed my mind. Really liked the way to order up front and have your food to you in minutes. Everyone got something different and it all hot and very tasty. I had the 4 meat platter and could not eat half of it. The ribs and pulled pork were the best. The brisket was a bit on the fatty side, but not enough to worry about. Ate late in the afternoon and from what we heard it was a good thing. They say the line goes out the door. They serve their sauces HOT which is something I have never seen. Not the best sauce I have had but very tasty.

This was a first time for us and we truly enjoyed the food! We had the pulled Pork which was excellent. They give you cornbread to start with and end up with melt in your mouth miniature hot donuts! I would recommend getting reservations as it was busy even on a Wed night.We like to start and end your meal with a complimentary treat! We have heard good things about Caldwell County BBQ so we had high hopes for a good meal experience. Unfortunately, things were not great. The people were all very friendly but the process of getting your food was very inefficient. We stood in line to get to the counter to order. The meats are sold by the pound so you need to know how much you plan to eat. The counter people weigh the tray, weigh the meats, etc., for each person. Then the tray is handed off to another person to add sides with another person helping. The whole process was very slow and wasteful. Finally, the food wasn't anything special. The ribs were flavorless and the pulled pork was dry. The brisket was moist but it took a lot of BBQ sauce to bring out the flavor.DreamSeeker94 I am so so sorry we failed you. While shopping at the San Tan Mall, my wife and I decided to check out Famous Dave's rib place. It must be popular as it quickly got busy at lunch time. We asked for an order of burnt tips. While waiting, they brought our drinks and some very salty, seasoned chips. On the table you can try the various (6?) types of BBQ sauce that you can dip the chips in. They brought us a second plate of the chips and we almost were too full for the order of burnt tips. It was soooo good. Not sure how healthy it was, but you are able to try the various sauces with the tips. Oh, and you can buy some of the sauces at the front till. Certainly, it was a different lunch, but pretty good. Actually, it can almost ruin your dinner plans, so order lots as you can take it home as well. Pretty good (fast) rib food.

My husband and I had dinner here and it was out of this world delicious!! The portion sizes were HUGE. We easily could have split one meal. Even the corn on the cob was outstanding. Service was also terrific. Definitely will be back and highly, highly recommend AZ BBQ Company.
