I wanted some BBQ and since we haven't tried this fairly new place I decided to go and get some take out. I walked in and ordered 2 lbs. of Pulled Pork to go. I thought the price was a little high but, I said oh well I'll give it a try. I had to wait an unusual length of time for my order which was strange since I was the only customer there. When it came out I asked for some sauce and the lady said it is already on it. That was a disappointment since I like to add my own sauce. The meat had a good flavor and made good sandwiches. They seem to have a nice variety on their menu so maybe I'll try them again sometime.

We were visiting the area and wanted some BBQ and found this place. The look of the reminded us of a Texas BBQ place we visit here in Colorado. That was the only similarity. As a first time visitor, the wait staff were great. Recommended a few items, and they were all great. The wife just loved the barnyard corn. I had the combo plate with honey wings. Everything was great. Manager even stopped by and we received a free bottle of BBQ sauce for being a first time visitor. Great food/price, only warning.... Parking is kind of limited if they are busy. Will stop by again on our next visit to Louisville/Middletown, KY.

While visiting Louisville, my wife and I were staying on the northeast side of town. We were hungry for barbecue and Martin's BBQ Joint was 5 minutes from our hotel. After consulting TripAdvisor we decided to check it out. I ordered beef brisket and baked beans and potato salad and my wife ordered pulled pork and broccoli salad and fries. The brisket, beans and potato salad were delicious. My only complaint is that the brisket serving was a little on the small side. My wife was impressed with the pulled pork and broccoli salad but the fries were a little overdone. The tab was a little pricey but the food was delicious. All things considered, I would definitely recommend

This is a family owned BBQ joint. Friendly service and good prices. The slaw is very light and crisp and GREAT. The ribs were good the day we were there, but I have been there other days when they were pretty fatty. It takes all tastes. My husband would have given them an excellent rating for their sides, but they were not really what I like. So, take a chance and see if it suits you!.
We pulled off I-71 and was prepared to go to another restaurant when we spied a food truck surrounded by work trucks. These workers know where the good food is at and we pulled in. Chops Food Truck is awesome. At 11:30 in the morning Chops was already out of ribs but the pulled pork was perfection, the beans had a terrific taste, and the potato was out of this world. Be advised that Chops is open 11 a.m. till 3 but usually sold out by 2. It is takeout with a few chairs under a tent. Days of operation or Wednesday thru Friday for 30 weeks a year. Don't miss this unique dining experience!
