Were up to Virginia for a bike trip and stopped at The Sawmill for lunch. Ordered bacon,Mac and cheese, JDBurger, salads and club sandwiches. Food was great, but we waited for over an hour. Unexceptionable!! The waitress was training a gal to be a waitress, and I would suggest that they do this on a week day!!

There were 8 of us walking around down town Virginia shopping and enjoying the holiday setup. We decided to stop at grammas for lunch. The service was quick and efficient. The place was clean and the servers were friendly, attentive and knowledgeable! The food was great and everyone left satisfied. The ladies all managed to land a glass of wine here also! A very nice, comfortable place to take a break, relax, have a drink and eat some good food! Hello,Thank you so much for your business and very kind review. I am so happy to hear that we were a refuge for you and your friends during the hectic holiday season and I hope we will see you again soon. Thanks!Sincerely,Kelly KGeneral Manager

Northern Divide's food is not the typical Iron Range fare. It is easy to get great vegetables and flavorful dishes: we have had excellent pot roast as a special, very good wild rice meatloaf, Mongolian beef, and flat breads. That said, some of our best visits have been for holiday buffets. Thanksgiving in particular is well-executed, and the view of the snowy golf course just enhanced the visit. As noted, the service here has been consistently great, including for holiday buffets, friendly, attentive, and helpful in managing dietary restrictions. It just improves on the good food to have great staff.

We visited this restaurant twice in one week. The staff was very friendly. The service was fast and of course they have delicious food. They also offer several vegetarian choices. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
