I had the opportunity to have dinner here twice during a recent visit to Salida, and both times were outstanding. The stroganoff is to die for; the French Dip sandwich was extremely good; portions were large and prices were reasonable. Loved the wine list - great wines by the glass, and generous pours. Service was great. Can't wait to return!

They may not share the same name, but the Arkansas River is essential Colorado. Its foamy rapids and tree-lined bends are a place where beauty and adventure meet, and we opened Boathouse Cantina on its banks to embody all things Colorado. From our locally
Great menu and variety of choices of food. Doesnât take reservations, but you can call ahead to get on the wait list. Itâs probably the most popular place in town offering a beautiful river view while dining on the patio. (There is indoor seating, but patio is worth the wait) Good selection of craft beers and delicious margaritas. The only negative is the service was a bit slow but it was also Friday night and packed. Order the delish chips and salsa to munch on while they are preparing your meal. They offer live music and the band was fab.

A sweet, off the main street eatery. During a festival in Salida, and there are many, we were able to get seated promptly. Not a big surprise, but all four of us ordered the same thing....burgers. And great burgers they were. Service was prompt and friendly. A must visit when in Salida

We ate here with two grandchildren because the restaurants in town were busy with the water rafting festival in town. The restaurant had several tv's with baseball and soccer on them. The children's chicken tenders were really good and the waitress kept the sodas refilled often. The burgers were cooked beyond well-done. The bacon/bleu cheese and other accompaniments were fine as were the side salad and coleslaw. Service was excellent!

Casual beer garden patio with an old airstream trailer for an outdoor bar. Good looking menu, good food and friendly service. We were relieved to find that this place was a little less busy on a warm Sunday afternoon and we were able to get a table for 9 without a wait. Thank you!!
