A great restaurant. A beautiful drive south of Rosarito Beach. Great Seafood. Excellent service, and a world class view. Enjoy!

This is a must see place if you visit Tijuana, nothing fancy, the Regulars are mostly Natives like me, although it is on the Zona Rio Area, it is not easy to see from the street, that is why you will not find many Tourists. Besides a good clamato (special recipe) you need to sample the mega hot dog which is the largest hot dog I've seen in TJ, it is a little spicy but the experience is worth it. During the day you can even bring your Family to try the food.

GOOD: The food taste and price is excellent. It is mainly a Mexican place and the shrimp dishes and enchilades are very good.BAD: We were there in the early afternoon and the wait staff was very slow and seemed to be resting for the night business. There were 3 wait staff members (2 spoke English and one Spanish only). We were obviously gringos so we got the one that did not speak English. After 3 attempts we received what we ordered. One customer sitting upstairs left since nobody served them.UGLY: We had 2 margaritas were were good at an great price. Afterwards I was crunching the ice and found a large piece of broken glass in my ice. I alerted the Manager and she apologized and was very nice about it. She found another piece of glass on the bar. So somebody broke a glass near the ice and never told anyone. She said she was going to change out all the ice. However she did not pull the drinks from the other 12-15 customers there, which may of contained glass. And in true Mexican style there was no offer to not charge me for the drink, discount our meal, or anything else that would encourage me to come back again.

I had an excellent meal at this sophisticated but casual restaurant directly below my hotel (One Bunk Tijuana). A delicious house salad with nectarines and jamon Serrano, followed by the Tacos de Lengua...the best I have ever had. The tongue is served separate from the tortillas, you assemble your own. The extra effort is so worth it. The tongue is rich and flavorful and the tortillas are hot, soft, and dare I say it...creamy.

Over 35 beers on tap and numerous beers by the bottle. As far as food goes it is ok, but not great. We have learned to go to some of the excellent restaurants nearby to eat and then come here to try a new microbrew. The staff here is always friendly and speaks enough English for a non Spanish speaker to be comfortable.
